Art direction and design for the Chanel Métiers d’art 2021/22 collection release in Boutique.
The challenge was to convey the essence of the collection across multiple channels, including the website, the Instagram page, and the email campaign.
To achieve this, I designed a vertical composition that seamlessly integrated images and videos from the campaign, with a sticky logo in the middle that tied everything together. This layout showcased the collection's details, and viewers could appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship of Chanel.
The diptych layout displaying the silhouettes and savoir-faire was also adapted for the Instagram page. I designed a triptych format that provided a cohesive and engaging experience for the audience. Overall, my approach was to extend the concept of the campaign shot by Joakim Janssons and designed by Virginie Viard.
It’s an incredible opportunity to work with such an iconic brand. The Chanel Métiers d’art 2021/22 collection release was an excellent example of the power of visual storytelling and how effective design can communicate a brand's identity and vision.
