Art direction and website design for Studio RM, a leading colour-grading studio
I was honored to be commissioned by Assembly London to design the website for Studio RM, a renowned color-grading studio based in London. The objective was to translate the studio's diverse aesthetic and sensibilities into a compelling digital experience.
To accomplish this, I aimed to craft a minimalistic yet impactful design system that featured several interactive elements. This included an immersive, vertically-scrolling homepage carousel, an index list for the Artists page with unexpected image positioning, and smooth transitions between key pages. Autoplaying video loops and a custom cursor design further enhanced the user experience.
Throughout the project, I leveraged bold typography and a distinctive color palette to establish a strong, memorable brand identity for Studio RM, which was then developed for their Instagram page.
Working closely with the talented team at Assembly and developer Adrien Picard, I delivered wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes showcasing the website's key features.
